I guess it's time to make a post because I got an angry email from my mother about the lack of updates and I had a potential client drive down to Redondo Beach from the valley just to make sure we were still alive and kicking. I want to assure everyone we are alive and well and that business is outstanding despite the lackluster economy. We prefer our phenomenal service do the talking, however, we created the blog so I guess we need to keep it up-to-date.
James attended the annual Independent Pet and Animal Transportation Association International (IPATA) conference in Dublin this past September and was the recipient of the "2009 Millie Woolf Memorial Leadership Award." IPATA is a global network and trade association of pet shippers, handlers, transporters, and airlines who are dedicated to the safe, reliable, and humane transportation of pets and other animals. Mildred or "Millie" was a founding member of the association.
The award is in recognition of James' continued efforts in working towards a better IPATA. James has repeatedly contributed his time educating others by either taking them under his wing or by contributing to the training and leadership at workshops. That being said, we would like to congratulate our fearless leader. He is fearless even though he is hiding behind his beautifully framed award (I'm pretty sure it's 14k gold).
